Everyone's first appointment is a New Patient consultation.
All other appointments are only available to registered patients after they have attended a New Patient Consultation.
There may be more than one possible treatment option suitable for you - these will be explained and discussed with you, and most general treatments can be carried out during this appointment slot.
If you just want advice or information about a podiatric condition then this is the appointment you need as I do not carry out telephone consultations.
This appointment slot is also used to carry out a pre-op assessment if you need a minor procedure.
Please remove nail varnish before attending ANY type of podiatry appointment.
CLINICAL PODIATRY
GENERAL PODIATRY
(Nails, Corns, and Calluses)

This is the appointment you need if you are a new patient or you have not attended the clinic in 6 months or longer. There is more information in the New Patient section above.

This is a bespoke maintenance appointment which is tailored to your specific footcare needs. This appointment is suitable for most people, who require treatment for nailcare, corns & callus (hard skin). This appointment includes some of all of the following treatments: toenail cut and file, reduction of thickened nails, clearing of debris under and around nails, clearing of debris between the toes, corn removal, callus (hard skin) removal, filing of rough heels & skin, hydrating foot cream applied.

Did you know that podiatrists can also cut fingernails? Why struggle when I can do this for you. This appointment is the same as the standard footcare appointment PLUS a fingernail cut and file and application of handcream.

Unable to reach your feet? As part of this appointment I can give your feet a warm towel wash and cleanse. Products are adjusted for delicate skin, so this is suitable for everyone.

This appointment contains all the elements of the standard appointment, but with a longer treatment time, or different equipment for those with ‘heavy chiropody’ needs. You will be advised if this is the appropriate appointment for you during your new patient consultation or if your foot health needs change at any point.

This is a simple nail cutting service by invitation only.
It is for those who do not have pathological nails or any issues with their feet, but simply cannot reach to cut their own nails. This is not a one-off appointment, it is an ongoing service, at maximum intervals of up to 3 months. This light maintenance appointment includes: a toenail cut and file, clearing of debris from under the nails (if needed), clearing interdigital debris (if needed), and application of a moisturising foot cream.
Available Monday afternoons, by invitation only, and is subject to availability,
Everyone’s first appointment is a New Patient appointment where you will be assessed for suitability for the service. If the service is full you will be added to a waiting list for a slot.
VERRUCAE CLINIC
(Warts)

Ongoing wart treatment at two week intervals - with Verrutop topical product.

Ongoing cryotherapy treatment for warts, 3 appointments at 2 week intervals, plus a free post treatment review appointment.

Destruction of the verrucae tissue under local anesthetic.

Surgical removal of verrucae under local anaesthesia. This appointment can only be booked after discussion with the podiatrist.
PROBLEMATIC NAILS
(Ingrown Nails & Fungal Nails)

Mechanical reduction (burring) of thickened fungal nails.

Mechanical fenestration of fungal nails using the ‘CLEARANAIL’ system. This is a controlled and painless method to create micro holes in the nails, which allows anti fungal medication to reach the nail bed. Two treatments are needed at 8-12 week intervals. Specialist cutting of the nails to remove the problem areas. This is done without local anaesthetic. Should this fail to solve the problem then nail surgery is usually required.

Nail surgery under local anaesthetic to remove all or part of a problematic nail.
Nail Surgery £450 for one digit.
£70 for each additional digit during the same procedure slot.

I can help with most skin, nail or wound issues, including but not limited to: routine footcare, toenail cutting service, problematic toenails, corns and callus (hard skin), rough, cracked or fissured heels, fungal nail and skin infections, verrucae (warts), foreign body removal, biopsies, wound care, nail surgery, minor procedures.
I do not offer a Biomechanics service. This is the division of podiatry that deals with musculoskeletal (MKS) injuries, sport injuries, gait analysis, MSK assessments, structural and growth issues and orthoses (insoles).
